3) Legal bases (EEA/UK)

We process data as needed to perform a contract, with your consent, for our legitimate interests (e.g., site security, service improvement), and to comply with legal obligations.

4) Cookies & analytics

We use cookies for core functionality (e.g., session management) and analytics (e.g., to understand how visitors use our Site). If you enable advertising cookies, partners may set cookies to measure campaigns. You can control cookies via your browser settings and any cookie banner preferences on our Site.

5) Insurance & financial privacy notices

Some information we handle is subject to additional laws:

  • GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act): As an insurance agency, we provide a separate GLBA privacy notice where required by law.

  • HIPAA: If we assist with products involving protected health information, we will provide a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices as applicable. This Site Policy does not replace those notices.

6) Sharing your information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers (hosting, CRM, analytics, communications, payment processing, verification, compliance).

  • Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition, asset sale).

  • Legal & compliance (to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety).

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law. If that changes, we will provide required notices and opt-out options.

7) Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal/contractual obligations (including insurance recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact: contact@insurvita.com

11) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12) Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online. If you believe a child has provided information to us without parental consent, contact contact@insurvita.com to request deletion.

13) Children’s Information for Insurance Purposes

In some cases, we offer insurance products designed for children. To issue these policies, we may need to collect certain information about the child (such as name, date of birth, gender, and Social Security Number).

This information is only provided by the parent or legal guardian as part of the application process. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.

Children’s information is used solely for underwriting, issuing, and servicing the insurance policy. It is not used for marketing or shared except as necessary with insurance carriers, reinsurers, or service providers involved in processing and servicing the policy.

By submitting an application for a child policy, the parent/guardian certifies that they are authorized to provide the child’s information and consent to its collection and use for insurance purposes.

If you believe we have received child information in a way inconsistent with this Policy, please contact contact@insurvita.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
